Under the NSW Governments Climate Change Fund (Public Facilities Program) our community was granted funding to undertake water and energy upgrades to the community building in Fairlight.

The upgrades include installing energy efficient lighting, a solar hot water heater, a rainwater tank and water efficient taps and toilets. The upgrades will save up to 1 million litres of water, 21 megawatts of electricity and 22 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions over the next ten years

Featuring short prayers and Bible readings, and a talk from Mike Frost.

A very special way to connect to the Easter story and a great event to invite people who want to go to church for Easter but a typical church experience might not be their thing.

Some of our crew are engaged in a new venture to bring peace late at night into the often violent pub district of Manly. It’s called being a street pastor. The objective is to care, listen and help people. It’s simple but we are hoping it will have an effect on alcohol related violence on the Manly Corso as it has in the UK.
