What we do

Small Boat Big Sea is a community of people who share a passion for life, creativity and justice. We seek to develop genuine Christian spirituality that connects deeply through place and space, beyond just Sundays. We do, however, meet weekly on Sunday afternoons from 5:00 at the William Street Studios in Fairlight.

There are a number of different groups that meet throughout the week at Small Boat Big Sea.

    • DNA’s (Discipleship, Nurture, Accountability) are groups of 2 to 5 people who meet regularly to talk, support and pray for each other.
    • Bible studies meet together regularly to study the scriptures and discuss what they have to say to us in Australia today.
    • Pop-Up groups and events are opportunities to delve into a specific issue or topic. Check out our Facebook page or sign up to our mailing list to find out more about these.
    • Meals are a big part of our community and there is usually something going on somewhere!

All Kids Ahoy leaders have completed Working with Children Checks and Baptist Churches of NSW & ACT Creating Safe Spaces training.
